FAQ about the nursery & online shop
WHAT IS YOUR ONLINE SHOP RETURNS POLICY?
If you are unhappy with an item ordered online please drop me an email at to tell me the issue & when I can expect a return to arrive back to me.
Unused & unopened items can be returned within 14 days of receipt. Buyer returns item at their own cost via courier company with tracking & signature.
A refund will be made if the item has been returned unused and in the original packaging. The refund will be made within 7 days to the original payment source.
DO YOU SELL GIFT CARDS FOR THE NURSERY?
Yes we do. Gift vouchers can be used on anything in the nursery/gifts.
We cannot give change if the total amount spent is below the voucher amount so change will be made in vouchers.
WHEN ARE YOU OPEN?
We are open:
Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays 10-2
We are a seasonal business so we shut at the end of September, opening again in March & usually open on the first weekend in December for Christmas tree sales.
DO YOU LEND/HIRE OUT PLANTS FOR WEDDINGS OR BUSINESSES?
We do not hire or lend plants or stock for use outside of our nursery. We have done this a few times before & stock has gone missing, been damaged or not returned.
As it is our very small family business we cannot afford these losses so we have a blanket policy to say no to requests now.
DO YOU KEEP BEES?
We currently do not keep bees on the site or ground nearby as we hire our our orchard, Pear Tree Meadows as a wedding venue & as guests could be allergic we have decided not to keep bees for the time being.
WHAT IF I PAY FOR AN ORDER WHICH IS OUT OF STOCK?
I reserve the right to cancel any online orders if the items have gone out of stock or I am not able to ship the order due to size/weight. A full refund will be made immediately if this should happen.
I will email you immediately if for any reason the order cannot be fulfilled due to stock or manufacturing or delivery issues.
CAN MY DOG VISIT YOUR NURSERY WITH ME?
We welcome well behaved dogs on site as long as your clear up after them!
WHICH PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
Payment options are offered via Stripe payments for debit & credit cards online or Paypal payment.
In the physical shop I can accept cash, credit & debit cards. No cheques.
DO YOU HAVE VOLUNTEERS ON THE NURSERY?
We don't have volunteers on the nursery currently as we have enough work to organise for ourselves, adding volunteers into the mix is too chaotic at the moment!
DO YOU SELL PLANTS ONLINE OR MAIL ORDER?
We do not sell our plants or seeds online.
